“So Easy Remix” has been released a few weeks ago, how do you feel right now?
No Rush: “We’re really proud of what we’ve done with this remix, we found a way to create our deep and atmospheric vibes while keeping some key elements of the original track.
We tried to give an opposite perspective of the track, and the result perfectly speaks our language. Definitely satisfied and can’t wait to hear your feedbacks on it.”
How was born the collaboration with “Sounds of Krafted”?
Viel: “With NoRush, the workflow is very spontaneous and free. We love sharing our projects.
During a trip to Paris we met Shemsu A&R from Krafted.
We immediately got along and decided to consolidate the first project with the remix for Davidee.”
Who inspired you throughout your career?
No Rush: “I think that real inspiration can’t come just from one artist, I prefer to see it as a process while I constantly get new inspiration from many new artists, well-known and less known. This kind of “contamination” works better for me, I have more ways to evolve myself.”
What do you believe in?
Viel: “I strongly believe that anything is possible, you just have to want it.”
If you hadn’t been a producer/dj, what do you think you would have done with your life?
No Rush: “If I hadn’t been a producer/dj, I would have probably worked in the family business as an optician, maybe continuing to study in this field. Honestly, I tried, but I quit after some months because I was investing my time only into music, not following the studying at the university, so it didn’t make any sense, and I went to study electronic music production in Milan, at SAE.”
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Viel: “Years ago, I really enjoyed improvising trips without planning my stay.
Together with a friend, one evening, after an open-wine we decided to leave for the sea.
We drove about 300km to get to a beach, pitch a tent, sleep, and then be woken up by the police and nearly got arrested for bivouac.
It was really exciting! hahaha”
If you could have a superpower, which one would you choose?
No Rush: “If I could have a superpower I would like to choose teleportation, in order to be able to be in many different places immediately and do a lot more things in my life. We all spend a lot of time moving from one place to another one, and doing that in seconds would be awesome in my opinion, you will have more time for yourself, your family, and your passions.”
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Viel: “In 10 years I hope that most of our projects will have been successful.”
Do you have plans for this winter? Will you play somewhere?
No Rush: “There are many plans for the upcoming months, a lot of new music is still fixed on the calendar to be released, we’ll go to ADE to meet friends and colleagues from all over the world.We’re also planning some gigs in Europe but still not able to reveal anything, keep an eye on us! :)”
